We are currently recruiting for General Trustees, as well as a Treasurer Trustee.
We anticipate the following commitment from our trustees:
• monthly/6 weekly Board meetings (with a willingness to attend additional meetings on an ad hoc basis when necessary);
• 2 x team days per year (attended by all staff and trustees);
• varied tasks to be completed between Board meetings approximately 3 hours per month;
• additionally, the treasurer would need to undertake occasional meetings (virtually or face to face, with the project administrator).
Previous experience as a trustee or board member would be helpful but not essential, however plenty of enthusiasm and commitment to the communities of North Cornwall is!
Please note that for the Treasurer Trustee role some previous experience in finance and a knowledge of charity finance would be helpful, otherwise, an enthusiasm to learn, drawing from sound commercial experience and an understanding of SMEs.
A background in finance. A knowledge of charity finance is an advantage. Otherwise, an enthusiasm to learn, drawing from sound commercial experience and an understanding of SMEs.
